3 great ways to celebrate the holidays in Sugar Land

The end of the year means the start of amazing community celebrations.

From goblins and ghouls to lighting our community’s favorite Christmas tree, it’s time to get festive in Sugar Land, y’all! The end of the year means the start of several amazing community celebrations meant to bring Sugar Landers together:

Trunk or Treat – October 30 – 5-8 p.m.

This annual Halloween event is filled with family fun, photo opportunities and candy! Be sure to stick around the Imperial Park Recreation Center for some fun surprises popping up throughout the evening. For more information, visit: https://www.sugarlandtx.gov/1837/Trunk-or-Treat

Christmas Tree Lighting – Dec. 3 – 5-8 p.m.

It’s back! Join us at Sugar Land Town Square for traditional Christmas activities, themed craft stations and live entertainment sure to make the whole family fill with glee. After the lighting of our spectacular Christmas Tree, the event will conclude with a firework display!

Senior Holiday Gala – Dec. 9 – 2-5 p.m.

Dance the night away at this formal event for Sugar Land’s seniors includes music and hors d’oeuvres! The event is back after a yearlong hiatus and is open to seniors 50 years and older, and free to members of the T.E. Harman Senior Center!
