Budget Finance

Here’s all the ways to continue to stay involved this budget season

We’re halfway through budget season, Sugar Land! And with that, there are still opportunities for you to get involved with your local government by providing feedback on the City’s priorities and goals. The budget proposes a slight increase in the tax rate to 35 cents per $100 from 34.65 per $100 to implement projects approved by voters in the 2019 G.O. Bond. The proposed increase amounts to about $9 per month for the average Sugar Land home.

Residents can attend the meetings at Sugar Land City Hall or watch via SLTV16 or the City’s Youtube channel.
