There’s an election coming, y’all! Before you head to the polls for the City of Sugar Land’s City Council Election & Charter Amendment Vote on May 3, 2025, let’s make sure you’re up to date on all the details. Here’s what’s on the ballot:
Charter Amendment – Decide on increasing judge term limits from two to four years.
General Election – Vote for Mayor and At-Large Positions One & Two.
Special Election – If you live in District Two or Four, you’ll also vote for your district’s representative.
District 2 residents: General Election, Special Election for District 2, and Charter Amendment.
District 4 residents: General Election, Special Election for District 4, and Charter Amendment.
Districts 1 & 3 residents: General Election and Charter Amendment.
