At Sugar Land Animal Services, we believe no family should have to surrender a beloved pet due to temporary financial hardship. That’s why we launched the Sugar Paws Pet Pantry—a community-supported initiative dedicated to keeping pets in their homes and out of shelters.
Distribution Days: 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Please complete a Pet Pantry Request Form before pickup here: Sugar Paws Pet Pantry.
What We Offer:
Dry and canned pet food
Treats and toys
Leashes, collars, and comfort items
Bedding, blankets, and hygiene supplies
What We Do for Our Community:
Provide free pet essentials to Sugar Land families in need
Partner with local organizations to expand our outreach
Reduce shelter intake by supporting pets at home
Strengthen the human-animal bond with compassion and care
Our First Distribution Was a Success! This past weekend, we proudly distributed approximately 380 lbs of dry food—primarily dog food—with additional support in the form of collars, leashes, toys, cat litter, and more. Thanks to our dedicated team and the generosity of the community, families received the help they needed to keep their pets fed, safe, and at home.
In Sugar Land, pets are family, and during hard times, they deserve to stay right where they belong: by your side. Every bag of food, every collar, and every act of kindness helps us build a stronger, more compassionate community for people and pets alike.
