Enjoy a Summer of Sound with concert series at Oyster Creek Park

Summer days don’t have to drift away when you can spend your summer nights at Oyster Creek Park with the Summer of Sound Concert Series, a free live music event series happening every Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting on June 1st until July 7th! Hosted by the Sugar Land Civic Art Division, this new concert series is yet another way we’re cultivating Sugar Land’s art and music scene and inviting residents and visitors to be a part of the fun!

Who will be performing?

  • The Ransom Brothers – June 1, 2024
  • Tejano Night with CTS Band/Queen of Tejano – June 8, 2024
  • Jazz Night with Actual Proof – June 15, 2024
  • Monarch Chamber Players – June 22, 2024
  • Hutson Percussion – June 29, 2024
  • MBK & Friends and Lenora – July 6, 2024

Please be advised there will be increased traffic and noise around Oyster Creek Park from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. We recommend checking out its.sugarlandtx.gov for real-time traffic updates in the area.

What else can I do during the series?

There will be an array of local food vendors and artisans offering unique crafts for sale. You can even experience immersive art installations thanks to some local partners.

Do I need to bring my own lawn chairs and picnic blankets?

We highly encourage bringing your own lawn chairs and picnic blankets to set up right on the lawn and pavilion area of Oyster Creek Park.

Where will parking be?

Parking will be available at Oyster Creek on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking will be offered at Lost Creek Park (3703 Lost Creek Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479). We do recommend you bring flashlights since there will not be lights on the connector trail.

Are there any restrictions?

General Park rules must be followed, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited as well as glass bottles and containers. You can bring your pets, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. This is a family-friendly event, so there’s no age restrictions, but we ask that you don’t leave any children unattended.
