The Sugar Land Regional Airport recently completed its 20-year master plan, and it needs your help fulfilling it!
A section of the airport’s master plan outlines five parcels of land that are available for non-aviation, commercial use around the airport. These areas can be used for future retail, office, or hospitality development. Airport staff is asking for community input on future commercial additions as a first step in the process. The airport would like to understand what 1) residents would like to have and 2) could increase quality of life in the area.
“We’re hoping that the results of the survey allow us to see what residents truly want in this area, as well as shine a light on how the airport continues to be a vital part of Sugar Land’s future,” Elizabeth Rosenbaum, director of aviation at Sugar Land Regional Airport, said.
